Matt and Amanda met each other as ballroom dance instructors, and got married October 4th, 2019. As a newly married couple, they were searching for a church to call home, and came back to Home Church, where Matt attended as a child.

The Lord put the teens on their hearts during a prayer fast to find how they could be working to help God’s mission. They have a passion for working with the youth ministry, and a love of deep Bible study and Christian apologetics. They consistently impart to the teens and encourage everyone to ask as many questions as possible to have an “eyes wide open” faith that leads to knowing what you believe and why you believe it.

Barb West joined the pastoral staff of Home Church as Outreach Pastor in March, 2000, after retiring from an insurance agency where she worked for 27 years. Barb teaches a Thursday morning Bible study, and provides leadership for the Spiritual Life Formation classes. She is part of the hospital visitation team, and visits our home-bound congregates. She is great to counsel and pray with and is a good listener.
